I was born & raised in Arcadia, California, a
suburb of Los Angeles. Nestled in the foothills of the San Gabriel
Mountains, it was a great place to grow up.
Our family was quite active back then. We had a large swimming pool in
our backyard. We even swam & dove competitively. Later on, we snow skied as a
family and eventually got into camping & water-skiing. My parents were both naturalized
citizens from Manitoba, Canada.
For health reasons they moved to the warmth of
Southern California in the early 1950s. I have two older sisters and a younger brother. All of us were active in
television, doing commercials and TV shows. You may recognize my sister,
Patricia Turner, who played Linda Dennison on the 'Leave It to Beaver'
show, see www.LITB.com . My other sister, Michele, continues to work as a commercial
and
television actress in
Salt Lake City, Utah. My sister Patricia and brother Kel reside in Southern California.

I have been living in a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota since 1985.
I am
married and a mother of four daughters
In 1989, I started my floral design company, Debbie Turner Originals.
In the
beginning I worked mainly with silk
and
dried materials for
arrangements and wreaths, worked with interior designers and
designed accessories for homes
and offices. In time, the company evolved into a full-scale floral and
event company.
Having studied interior design
in Newport Beach and Beverly Hills,
California several years earlier,
the
company is evolving back to full-scale design,
including interior design. Check out Debbie Turner Originals. |
